Abstract
Transport is related to the movement of people, cargo space, using appropriate means of transport. Transport needs are secondary to the needs of man and are related to the fact of different spatial distribution of resources, population centers and workplaces. Forecasting the future (ex ante) is always based on available information at the time of constructing forecasts. The problem of finding the best prediction involves the determination of such a forecast that the available information, the best "describes the" future states of the subject property and forecasts. An important element of the work is to present a method for determining the forecast error, which can be used in transport systems. Compared to the known literature methods, the author included an additional parameter which is the standard error of estimate, ie. Standard deviation. In the last part of the paper gives examples of the use of estimating the forecast error for the system to plan their journeys.
