Abstract

The article is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the renowned archeologist and Bolgar researcher, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Kazan State Institute of Culture K.A. Rudenko. The primary directions of his research work are Bolgar metal ware of the 8th – 14th centuries, rural settlements and their material culture, artistic metal and jewelry of the Bolgars, and the issues of historiography.
