Kostyantyna Malytska as a pedagogue, writer, and public activist

Abstract

The pedagogical ideas of Konstantynа Malytska are revealed, the works of the scientist are analyzed, their interpretation from the point of view of modern needs of Ukrainian society and Ukrainian education. The problem of creating a national school, the search for optimal conditions for the development of a creative personality is emphasized. The importance of K. Malytska's creative work, which helps to improve the pedagogical process, meets the requirements of the present, is substantiated. Considering education as one of the most important factors in the social development of society, K. Malytska emphasized the development of creative abilities and abilities, skills of critical thinking, scientific knowledge, self-determination of the individual, creation of conditions for its self-realization. The sources of the teacher's outlook, according to the teacher, are love for people, deep humanity, inexhaustible daily work. Of particular importance the writer gave to the relationship between the teacher and students, which arise and strengthen in the process of active activity. K. Malytska saw the child a conscious personality, a participant in the cultural life of society, a subject of creative and conscious activity.
