Kształtowanie i ocena mikrogeometrii eksperymentalnych tłoków o schodkowym profilu powierzchni nośnej

Abstract
The shape of the microgeometry of the piston bearing surface is directly connected to the phenomena of thermal expansion, lateral movements of the piston and the friction process between the piston and cylinder. During the research the stepped profile of the bearing surface of the piston should be appraised of influence on the friction loss and the mechanical efficiency in internal combustion engine. In order to achieve best possible result of the modification process microgeometry bearing surface of the piston, this requires assessing the accuracy of implementation. The paper presents the methodology of measurements using CMM. The results will determine the degree of wear coating graphite.
