KUZBASS MINES’ WORKINGS INSULATION CONDITION

Abstract
A description of modern technologies of the hydromechanical method of erecting insulating structures is given, and an analysis of their shortcomings that do not allow them to be classified as explosion proof is made. On the accident at the Severnaya Mine in Vorkuta on February 25, 2016 example, the relevance of maintaining the insulation structures in working condition is shown, which requires the organization of a comprehensive non-destructive control of the technical condition of stopping structures and the contour zone of the enclosing opening in the process of their construction and operation. It is necessary to create a specialized full-scale stand to recreate the conditions and regimes of an explosive shock wave formation and analyze its impact on the "stopping-contour massif" system.
