La transformación de las bandas de viento en el caribe colombiano: un paso de la estética europea a la banda como fiesta

Abstract
Wind bands, in the Colombian field, are taken as an artistic phenomenon that allows the meeting around local celebrations, where corporal, visual and resounding interrelations are hatched from different enjoyment ways. Their more relevant partners in the towns: parades and open-air band concerts, call to the meeting when they pass by the streets or they rule in a park. Party – intrinsic in any of these events – when metals, woods and percussion rule the street results from the dialogue between traditional Colombian music and European military band instruments to promote, in the local stage, an aesthetics with an own signature.
