LA UNIVERSIDAD PÚBLICA Y LA EDUCACIÓN POPULAR EN ARGENTINA: UNA EXPERIENCIA DE EDUCACIÓN POPULAR GESTADA DESDE Y PARA LOS/LAS TRABAJADORES/AS

Abstract

In this article we develop aspects related to educational experiences “FROM” and “FOR” workers conducted by public university workers in spaces and scenarios shared with other workers. This experiences are part of a university extension project based on Gramscian perspective, emphasizing the enormous importance of political education of workers, and whose perspectives on education and culture is of tremendous value to our contexts. We recover current debates in OurAmerica, contributions of referents like José Carlos Mariátegui about the education of workers, who left discussions of unlimited theoretical value. Also, we explore the conception of self-management, which served as criterion of construction. Self-management and class unity and solidarity have led to a practice grounded in our social history and the historical necessity of social transformation.
