Laryngologiczne osiągnięcia Andrzeja Janikowskiego (1799-1864)

Abstract
The professional and scientifi c activities of Andrzej Janikowski (1799-1864), surgeon, physician of forensic medicine, psychiatrist his thorough medical education in various European medical countries are presented widely. He was a professor of theoretical surgery at Royal Warsaw University. He was a founder of Pharmaceutic School in Warsaw. His therapeutic trials of cure of ulceration of frontal bone and membranous laryngitis are described. He was a good reporter on foreign physicians works.
