LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR TRAINING PROGRAM BY CDIO APPROACH APPLIED TO MECHANICAL INDUSTRY 4.0

Abstract

The CDIO approach (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) is a model of educational reforms in technical universities towards meeting the needs of careers in the corporate and social context. The paper presents the need to build the learning outcomes for study at universities according to CDIO approach. Applying the theoretical basis to build the learning outcomes, standards and methods to build the learning outcomes, thereby assessing the essential issues when building the learning outcomes for the training program under the CDIO approach, simultaneously from the relevant analysis of the roles and requirements of the proposed learning outcomes to suit for the university situation.
