Legal aspects of the implementation of intellectual property rights in Ukraine using the example of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

Abstract
The article covers the role of law in creation and protection of intellectual property. The national legislation regulating the legal basis for the creation, protection and use of the objects of intellectual property rights in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is analyzed. The activity of scientific institutions of the NAS of Ukraine in the patent and license sphere is analyzed. The authors assert that Ukrainian science as a medium for the creation of various objects of intellectual property requires reforming as soon as possible. For this, the state assistance to protect intellectual property is needed that requires the introduction of organizational and legal measures.
