Legal Protection for Users of Affiliate Services in Binary Option Platform Transactions

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the extent of legal protection provided to users of Binary Option platform services on the basis of affiliate violations and whether affiliates are liable for losses experienced by Binary Option service users. This type of research is legal research, using normative juridical research. The approaches used in this research are the statutory approach and the conceptual approach. The results of this research are that Binary Options trading is a guessing game or called gambling and does not have an operating permit in Indonesia and the legal protection provided is through the Investment Alert Task Force which actively gives an appeal to the public to be more careful if they want to carry out investment activities. because until now there are no definite regulations regarding Binary Option services.
