LESSONS OF NANOELECTRONICS: HALL EFFECT AND MEASUREMENT OF ELECTROCHEMICAL POTENTIALS WITHIN «BOTTOM – UP» APPROACH
Journal Title: Сенсорна електроніка і мікросистемні технології - Year 2014, Vol 11, Issue 1
Abstract
Classical and quantum Hall effects, measurement of electrochemical potentials, the Landauer formulas and Buttiker formula, measurement of Hall potential, an account of magnetic field in the NEGF method, quantum Hall effect, Landau levels, and edge states in graphene are discussed in the frame of the «bottom – up» approach of modern nanoelectronics in continuation to the previous tutorial review articles of the authors.

THEORETICAL FUNDAMENTALS OF ESTIMATION OF THERMOCOUPLE LEG CONDITIONS DURING OPERATION
The causes of the thermocouple (TC) errors due to degradation processes in TC legs, such as the error due to drift of conversion characteristic and the error due to thermoelectric inhomogeneity of TC legs acquired during...
SENSING RYDBERG AUTOIONIZATION RESONANCES IN SPECTRUM OF YTTERBIUM: NEW SPECTRAL DATA AND EFFECTS
We applied a generalized energy approach (Gell-Mann and Low S-matrix formalism) combined with the relativistic multi-quasiparticle (QP) perturbation theory (PT) with the DiracKohn-Sham zeroth approximation to studying au...
COMPUTATIONAL STRATEGY IN RATIONAL CHOICE OF FUNCTIONAL MONOMERS FOR "ARTIFICIAL RECEPTOR" SYNTHESIS ON MELAMINE
Geometric and energy characteristics of the pre-polymerisation complexes "functional monomer - template" in a vacuum, water and acetonitrile are investigated with density functional theory (DFT) method at RwB97XD/6-31G(d...
ANALYSIS OF THE BERYLLIUM-7 ACTIVITY CONCENTRATION DYNAMICS IN THE ATMOSPHERIC ENVIRONMENT TIME SERIES AFTER THE FUKUSHIMA DAIICHI NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS EMERGENCY
We present the results of an analysis, modelling a temporal dynamics of the beryllium-7 (caesium-137) activation concentration in the atmospheric environment time series in Austria after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Pow...
