LEXICO-SEMANTIC FEATURES OF TRANSLATION OF GERMAN FAIRY TALES INTO UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article deals with lexical and semantic features of the translation of German fairy tales into the Ukrainian language. This question is relevant, since it is very difficult for an experienced translator to avoid certain difficulties connected with the peculiarities of structure, form, lexical means. The purpose of the article is to determine the methods and techniques for the translation of the German fairy tale into Ukrainian, as well as the linguistic and stylistic means of the language of the German fairy tale, which convey its color. The relevance of the topic is due to the increase attention of scientists to the German folk tale, namely, to the methods and ways of its translation, as the translator needs to successfully recreate the cultural and national specifics, ethnic mentality and features of folklore. Many scientists have studied this problem, among them: Babinkov G., Esipovich K., Demurov N., Leshchenko O., Sotnikov S., Lepukhov N. I. However, in their writings, they often point to the difficulties associated with the translation and transformation of German fairy tales into the Ukrainian language. Materials of the research are translations of German fairy tales into the Ukrainian language.
