LIE-ALGEBRA AND MODIFIED JACOBI POLYNOMIALS
Journal Title: Journal of Science And Arts - Year 2013, Vol 23, Issue 2
Abstract
In the present paper, L. Weisner’s group-theoretic method has been utilized in obtaining generating functions of , a modification of the Jacobi polynomials - In section 1, with the suitable simultaneous interpretations of the index and the parameters of the modified Jacobi polynomials, a set of linear partial differential operators, their commutators and the extended form of the groups corresponding to the operators are introduced and on showing that they form a four diamentional Lie algebra, we obtain in section 3, a novel generating relation for the polynomial under consideration which in turn yields a number of generating relations most of which are seem to be new.

STUDY OF THE OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF POLAR BEAR HAIR IN THE INFRARED RANGE AND THEIR MICROSCOPIC STRUCTURES FOR PASSIVE CONTROL OF TEMPERATURE
If you are looking for the biggest land mammals, you will find them in northern Alaska, northern coast of Russia, Canada, Greenland and Norway. Polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is immediately recognizable by the white fur; i...
EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF PHOTON ABSORPTION IN SILICON AND NIOBIUM
The absorpt ion of photon through silicon and niobium is measured by using Si(Li) X - ray detector. We use Fe[sup]55[/sup] radioactive source to produce fluorescence lines from Si, Cl and Ti. The experimental results sho...
ON THE EXTENSION OF BILATERAL GENERATING FUNCTIONS OF MODIFIED JACOBI POLYNOMIALS
In this note, we have obtained a novel extension of a bilateral generating function of modified Jacobi polynomials from the existence of quasi-bilateral generating function by group-theoretic method
SOME CONSEQUENCES OF DRIMBE INEQUALITY
In this paper we present a refinement of inequality: ∑sinA/2≥5/4+r/2R who are true in any acute triangle ABC and some consequences of DRIMBE inequality.
SOME MODELS OF DISSIPATIVE PROCESSES IN PHASE TRANSFORMATIONS ON A WIDE RANGE OF TEMPERATURES
The phase transitions in solid materials (called solid-solid transformations) are connected with the thermo dynamical processes with hysteresis, leading to the dissipative models. Obvious, the liquid-solid transitions ar...
