Logic and didactic structure of the content of mathematics textbook for primary school

Abstract
The article outlines the basic requirements for the content of a mathematics textbook for primary school. The methodological basis of the requirements for the modern textbook are the statements set in the Law on Education (27 September 2017, No 2145-VIII) and the current State Standard of Primary Education. The main emphasis in the content is made on the structure that promotes the development of cognitive independence of primary schoolchildren, the formation of skills in creative activity. The starting point in this content is the structure of scientific knowledge and cognitive activity, adapted to the conditions and characteristics of primary school. The algorithm for performing cognitive procedures corresponding to the structural elements of scientific knowledge is presented. The necessary requirement for the structure of the textbook is the reliance on the principles of didactics, which determine both the form and content of the textbook, and the methodological solution of general and particular didactic tasks. The theoretical statements set in the article are supported by illustrative material and practical recommendations.
