Long term actions of community authorities that affect the socio-economic development on example of Dobra Szczecińska community

Abstract
The purpose of the article is to find an answer to the question whether the community authorities of Dobra contribute to the socio-economic development and the improvement of the life of the inhabitants of this region. An analysis and evaluation of the actions taken over the past 20 years by the Dobra Szczecin commune authorities in Zachodniopomorskie has been conducted, to assess the needs of the inhabitants in the ecological, social, economic, housing and spatial development areas. The author made a critical analysis of literature, studied documents from the Commune Office and publications from publicly available web sides. A constructive criticism of the plans of the municipal authorities for the coming years has been done as well.
