Journal Title: Alejandría - Year 2022, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
During these brief lines it is discussed how was the arrival and use of tanks in Spain, from the arrival of the first FT-17 bought from France to the models used by the Republican Army during the Civil War. It is explained how was the only Spanish-made tank, the Trubia model. Finally, the training given to the recruits who faced the rebels during the Civil War, instructed in the military facilities of Archena, will be discussed, and some of the battles in which the tanks took part will be dealt with in a superficial way.
