MANAGEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY OF SCIENTIFIC-PEDAGOGICAL EMPLOYEES HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of professional competence of scientific and pedagogical employees. It is proved that the consideration of peculiarities of development of professional competence of scientific and pedagogical employ- ees of institutions of higher education is determined by the definition of external and internal factors influencing this process. Based on the legislative provisions, the main ways of improving the professional competence of teachers are substantiated. The main tasks of the system of postgraduate education, which determine the creation of a continuous, pur- poseful, organized process of systematic renewal of the professional competence of education employees, are pointed out. Management of the development of professional competence of scientific and pedagogical employees of institutions of higher education is considered as a process that provides for the creation of conditions for the implementation of continu- ous education on the part of the management system; aimed at the professional development of scientific and pedagogical employees with the aim of improving the professional knowledge, skills, skills and competences necessary for the imple- mentation of pedagogical, scientific, scientific and technical and methodical activities; involves achieving personal goals and objectives of the organization. The process of managing the development of professional competence of scientific and pedagogical employees of institutions of higher education involves the involvement of managers of different levels, employees of various structural units, as well as the scientific and pedagogical workers themselves, which allows us to understand the importance of distinguishing subjects of the management process. The monitoring of the development of professional competence of teachers of departments of higher education institutions is important for measuring and evaluating the level of professional development of a pedagogical worker of a higher education establishment.
