Journal Title: Zeszyty Naukowe Wyższej Szkoły Humanitas Zarządzanie - Year 2015, Vol 16, Issue 3

Abstract

In modern world, not from today, the change in development paradigm may be ob¬served which is about moving away from industrial economy in favour of based-on-knowledge economy. The clue of this model is the spreading of knowledge, the increase of human capital as a superior quality of each enterprise - the quality which is lost irrecoverable when the team of qualified specialists leaves. All of the qualities mentioned above gain greater meaning in case of service companies, where the quality of equipment they possess is not of main value, but the prac¬tical as well as theoretical knowledge of employed group of specialists. On tourist market, which importance for Polish economy is undeniable, the lack of knowledge in wide aspect, especially in case of small enterprises, make them to undertake any sort of cooperation 2. In such a situation, the usage of knowledge and abilities of all co-operators in name of realisation of common goal, creates basis to gain desirable competitive position on regional area, national as well as international. The aim of the article is to suggest the tourist enterprise management concept in claster condi¬tions with the usage of a functional benchmarking method, which according to the author may be an adequate tool in modern process of tourist enterprises’ management of Bukowina Tatrzańska community that operate in a claster, which allows to compare them with the leaders of the tourist market that function in the claster.
