Managing ecology in the euroregional dimension: experience of Euroregion Nysa

Abstract
This article includes presentations of international institutions dealing with crossborder cooperation with particular emphasis on the ecological sphere. On the example of Euroregions Neisse the author shows the international relations in the sphere of decision making aimed to improving ecology. Statistical data included in this article clearly indicate that the main determinant of qualitative change is the proper political system, willingness for international cooperation and awareness of the benefits of these changes. Numerous tables, charts and drawings show progress in eco-development.
