MARKET OF THE COMPANIES ENGAGED IN BREEDING PLANTS IN POLAND

Abstract

The aim of the article was to present the changes that occurred in the number of companies engaged in plant propagation in Poland in general as well as in particular voivodships in the years 2009-2016. The source of data used for calculations were the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD). Research on the location of the companies in question was also carried out in relation to the population of the voivodeships concerned. The research shows a 9.5% increase in the number of companies from the industry in the period under study. This increase was in the form of a polynomial trend. In addition, the number of companies in particular voivodships was adjusted to the clusters of consumers there, as evidenced by the low value of Florence (F) indicator.
