Mathematical model calculating the duration of construction

Abstract
Improvement of the methodological principles of scheduling allows to solve the problems of exceeding the terms of construction. Compliance to the calendar plan of works has a direct impact on the construction`s duration and its cost. The aim of the research is developing of an adequate method of determining the duration of construction with considering its stochastic character for increasing the reliability of scheduling. The following items were developed in the research: the principles for determining the sensitivity coefficient of works, taking into account possible disruption of the schedule planned at standards; structural model of the object construction process; mathematical model for determining the duration of construction, with considering the sensitivity of the work to various factors, which are the cause of deflections from the planned terms. The practical application of developments will ensure a high accuracy of determining the total duration of construction, its separate stages and installation works. It will allow to synchronize planned and actual construction parameters.
