Measuring the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility

Abstract

The article presents the issue of social responsibility, and above all its mul-tidimensionality in business. The problem is also distributed multidimensional benefits of CSR. It also shows the difficulty of measuring the phenomenon, because it is easy to measure the value of the material, such as income or savings. The problem is to measure the values of which are assets social capital and trust. This does not mean, however, that we are not able to examine the effectiveness of CSR. The paper presents several available and used in practice methods of measuring CSR. Capturing key dependencies between expenditures and profit, however, requires further work and analysis, despite a number of solutions pro-posed by theorists and practitioners.
