Abstract
This article presents mechanisms of knowledge diffuson in the region. We discuss methods of aquisition of knowledge by agents functioning in the region, and channels of knowledge distribution - private persons' and public channels, institutional channels and channels based on information and communication systems. We characterise the role of knowledge diffusion in the process of knowledge management in the region.
