Media existence of Ukrainian crisis: verbalizing destruction and support (а case of English BBC news stories)

Abstract
The paper reveals that news stories reconstruct different aspects of a crisis drawing on the preconception structures of sensory-motor origin with an important place occupied by destruction and support opposing it. In Ukrainian context the latter is verbalized at five levels: basic representing immediate participants, local, national, supernational, and global in combination with media performatives.
