METHODOLODICAL TOOLS FOR ORGANIZING THE PROCESS OF STAFF SEARCH AND SELECTION

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the problems arising in the process of meeting the needs of enterprise in the staff.Domestic management practices based on the intuitive making of relevant personnel decisions that lead to a large number of errors. The paper offers a complex of methodological recommendations to avoid them. In particular developed an algorithm completing staff of employees the enterprise, which consists of the following stages: determining the list of requirements for applicants for the vacant post; revealing of methods of evaluation of candidates for their competences; organization of the selection of the optimal candidate set of applicants. It is proved the priority of formation and use of competences maps as a basic tool of search and selection of a staff. It is emphasized the requirements for the formation of a set of competencies, namely: completeness, operation, minimalism, measurability. Particular attention is paid to the choice of sources of finding candidates for the vacant position. In this aspect the main criteria for selecting sources identified, their importance and an assessment of a complex of main sources of criteria using economic-mathematical methods of decision making. It is proved the need for a set of methods for evaluating candidates for the vacant position. A matrix of priority use of various selection methods when assessing different competencies of the candidate is constructed. Also it is provided practical advice on justification optimal choice candidate for the vacant position with a certain set of candidates by using the method of multi criteria analysis of "ideal point". Using the above recommendations will significantly increase the effectiveness of the enterprise to meet the needs of staff.
