METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES AND METHODS OF TERMS OF TRADE STATISTICAL EVALUATION

Abstract
This paper examines the methodological principles of statistical estimation of terms of trade, which made it possible to carry out a comparative analysis of the different product groups with due regard to cost structure of exports and imports in the past and current periods of time. The study elucidates the system indexes of terms of trade, which is based on the compilation of hierarchical indexes of average prices of exports and imports in the sub-indices trading conditions using Fisher's weighting methodology. This enabled us to develop integrated in terms of trade index, which takes into account the basic and current structure of exports and imports. The developed system indices of trading conditions makes it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of international trade of Ukraine and determine its impact on macroeconomic performance. Thus, by making the amendment to GDP losses from declining terms of trade can be calculated tae rate of real gross domestic income (RVVD). This indicator defined by the SNA 2008 concept, as an indicator of real income economy
