METHODOLOGY OF PRINCIPLES OF EMERGENCY AID IN CASES OF CATASTROPHIC TRAUMA IN CHILDREN
Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Emergency aid in cases of catastrophic trauma in children is a critical area of healthcare that requires a nuanced understanding of both pediatric physiology and the psychological needs of young patients. Given that children are particularly vulnerable to severe injuries due to their developing bodies and unique emotional responses, effective emergency response protocols are essential. These protocols must incorporate principles of rapid assessment, stabilization, and appropriate intervention, tailored to the specific types of trauma commonly experienced by children. The methodology in this field emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, involving healthcare providers, emergency responders, and mental health professionals, to ensure that children receive comprehensive care that addresses both their physical injuries and emotional well-being. Understanding these principles is vital for improving outcomes in pediatric trauma situations, ultimately enhancing survival rates and quality of life for affected children.
