METHODS OF REPRODUCTION OF PROPER NAMES AND REALIA IN THE UKRAINIAN TRANSLATIONS OF J. R. R. TOLKIEN’S NOVEL “THE LORD OF THE RINGS”

Abstract
The article deals with methods of rendering proper names and realia in the Ukrainian translations of J. R. R. Tolkien’s novel “The Lord of the Rings”. These methods are described on the examples of translations by A. Nemirova, O. Feshovets and K. Onishchuk, divided into formal or contentrelated ones, and those contributing to foreignization or domestication of the text.
