METRIC TESTS CHARACTERISTIC FOR ESTIMATING JUMPING FOR VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS

Abstract
With goal to esta blish me tric tests cha rac te ri stics for esti ma ting jum ping for volleyball players, it was or ga ni zed a pi lot re se arch on pat tern of 23 vol leyball players from ca det te am and 23 stu dents from high-school. For ne eds of this re se arch fo ur tests are va lid for esti ma tion, jump in block with left and right leg and jump in spi ke with left and right leg. Each test has been ta ken three ti mes, so that we co uld with test-re test met hod de te r mi ne the ir re li a bi lity, and with fac tor analysis the ir va li dity. Da ta we re pro ces sed by mul ti va ri a te analysis (item analysis, fac tor analysis) from sta ti sti cal pac ka ge „Sta tisti ca 6.0 for win dows“. On the re sults of re se arch and di scus sion we can say that the tests had high co ef fi ci ent of re li a bi lity, as well as fac tor va li dity, and the se tests can be used to esti ma te jum ping for vol leyball players.
