MHD Forced Convective Flow of Micropolar Fluids Past a Moving Boundary Surface with Prescribed Heat Flux and Radiation
Journal Title: Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science - Year 2017, Vol 21, Issue 1
Abstract
The forced convective boundary layer flow of electrically conducting micropolar fluids has been investigated in the presence of magnetic field applied in the normal direction of a sheet that shrinks or stretches horizontally and thus causes the fluid motion. Self-similar transforms have been employed to convert the governing partial differential equations into ordinary differential form. The resulting highly non-linear model has been solved numerically with coding in Mathematica. Rigorous computational work has been carried out for sufficient ranges of the parameters of the study namely suction parameter S, stretching/shrinking parameter∈, magnetic parameter M, material constants d1, d2, d3 involved in micromotion, heat source parameter B, radiation parameter Rn, heat flux parameter n and Prandtl number Pr. The effects of these parameters on the physical quantities like skin friction coefficient, velocity, temperature and micromotion are presented graphically.

Solution of Wind Speed Equation of Circulation Cyclone and Its Application
The wind speed equation of circular cyclone is a set of non-linear partial differential equations (PDE) with 4 unknown functions u (wind speed), ρ (density), p (pressure) and T (temperature) and is separated to 14 unknow...
Application of and Control Charts to Investigate Students’ Performance
This paper is coined to investigate the performance of students based on two semesters’ examination scores. The objective of this discussion is to determine whether the performance of students is based on each examinatio...
The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and its Application to the Utilization of Mobile Learning Technologies
Researchers have argued that inclusion of technologies in the teaching-learning places must be preceded by the user accepting the technology. Without this effort, the technologies remain abandoned or heavily underutilize...
A Note on the Fuglede and Fuglede-Putnam’s Theorems
In this paper, we investigate the extension of Fuglede and Fuglede-Putnam’s Theorems to two bounded linear operators.
Multicyclic Codes and Algebraic Dynamical Systems
We present the structures within group algebras constructed from commutative groups and finite fields. Then we define and construct multicyclic codes in these group algebras. At the end, in the frame of the decoding proc...
