MIGRATION CRISIS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION’S POLITICS BY MULTICULTURALISM

Abstract
The article analyzes the migration crisis in the EU society as a result of the policy of multiculturalism. Characterized by economic hardships and terrorist threats, the appearance of xenophobia in European society regarding the adoption of a large number of refugees. The basic components of migration policy regarding the provision of social standards and rigorous control, which require additional EU financial burdens on EU member states’ budgets, and also influence radical attitudes in society, are indicated. Conducted conclusions about the causes and consequences of the migration crisis. The comprehensive and comparative analysis of the CEDOS analytical center in the dynamics of the number of refugees in the world, according to UN data, the dynamics of applications for asylum applications in the EU and the main recipient countries of refugees in the EU, is presented. Migration policies of EU member states are given. The conclusion was made that the regulation of migration processes in EU countries should be carried out in a complex manner, considering the interests of all EU member states.
