Modeling of energy crops gasification based on experimental data
Journal Title: Architecture Civil Engineering Environment - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 0
Abstract
The paper presents a mathematical model of the selected energy crops gasification. Firstly, the experimental study of the biomass gasification process using fixed-bed reactor was conducted. The highest calorific value was obtained from the gasi- fication of Miscanthus x giganteus (3.84 MJ/m3n). Based on the experimental results, a model of the gasifier built in Aspen Plus was verified. The developed mathematical model of the gasification system properly reflects the processes occurring in the analyzed gasifier. The relative differences of the lower heating values from the model and experiment did not exceed 1%.

The main goal of the paper is the presentation of research works on static and fatigue behaviour of LWC (lightweight con- crete) deck slab reinforced with GFRP (glass fibre reinforced polymer) rebars. The structural LWC...
Taking up residence near the garden as the substitute of the garden-city idea. The housing development and spatial structure of the suburban areas as the combination of ignoring a place context and a myth of living in the garden-city on the example of the buffor zone of the Łagiewnicki Forest in Łódź
Garden city is an idea regarded as one of the reasons for the spontaneous sprawl of buildings around the city. The paper compares the assumptions described in the book “Garden Cities of Tomorrow” with the way of the inve...
