MODELLING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ADDITIVES AND TRIBOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF LUBRICANTS

Abstract
The article presents the statistical analysis of research results concerning the influence of commercial antiwear additives on the tribological properties of lubricants that was produced based on mineral oil. The experiments were conducted with the use of a four-ball apparatus. The tribological properties of lubricants were assessed based on following indicators: a limiting pressure of seizure (poz) and a limiting load of the wear (Goz) In the analysis, the influence of the additives on the poz and Goz indicators was estimated. The statistically significant regression models of these relationships were developed.
