Modern approaches to definition of the category of “legal regulation”

Abstract
In this article is analysed the basic theoretical approaches to the definition of category “legal regulation”. The defined meaningful characteristics of generally socials and actually legals functions of this legal phenomenon. The author’s definition is proposed the notion of legal regulation, which allows to displayed features of his use in the process simulation of ordering of social relations in the conditions of transformation of right and state.
