MODERN APPROACHES TO INTERPRETING THE CONCEPT OF THE JUVENILE CRIMINAL AND LEGAL POLICY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article deals with modern doctrinal and legislative approaches to the definition of such concepts as: "criminal law" and "juvenile criminal law". Based on the existing provisions, the author formed his own relevant definitions. The article deals with the features of juvenile criminal law policy, approaches of scho- lars to determine its essence and content in order to formulate its own definition of juvenile criminal law. It is revealed that today juvenile policy is at the inception stage and therefore requires systematic research from sociologists, lawyers, psychologists, educators, scientists of different branches of knowledge.
