MODERN CONDITION OF MACHINE BUILDING AND TRENDS OF ITS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article investigates the role of mechanical engineering as the branch of economy of Ukraine. On the basis of statistical data, the dynamics of the main indicators of the development of Ukraine's machine-building industry for 2013-2017 is analyzed. The author highlights significant problems in the investigated branch and determines the priorities for its further development.
