Modern forms of military conflicts: new threats and current trends

Abstract
The article explored the most pressing forms of armed violence and analyses the dynamics of military conflicts of various types and levels of intensity. The major trends in spread of armed violence, such as increase in the number of intrastate, internationalized internal and nonstate conflicts, actualization of irregular and asymmetric threats are identified.
