MODERN PLANT MAINTENANCE AND RELIABILITY MANAGEMENT METHODS – A REVIEW
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 3
Abstract
The period from the 1990s has seen a large body of work in the areas of Plant Maintenance and Reliability Management. While strategies like RCM and TPM are popular and well known, there is also a large body of work that has attempted to move forward from these methodologies. The main intent of these approaches has been to address the issues faced during implementation of these methods. The newer methods of Plant Maintenance and Reliability Management are not as well known as the conventional methods. This paper attempts to collate and organize this body of knowledge in the form of a comprehensive review
NOX EMISSION REDUCTION OF CI ENGINE USING OPTIMIZED DUAL BLEND BIODIESEL

A REVIEW OF LITERATURE AND IDENTIFICATION OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM) TOOLS FOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN INTEGRATION; AND THE ERGONOMICS PRINCIPLES FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Product design, Ergonomics and Total Quality Management (TQM) are three fields of engineering. They all aim for customer satisfaction, indigenously. Literature available entails that, mechanical engineers design products...
A Parametric Analysis of Deformation of Workpiece in Closed Die Forging
Under filling and folding are two major defects, resulting in defective parts at the forging stage or failure during service life. Folding may act as a potential starting point, for crack initiation and under filled comp...
Characterization of Palmyra Fiber and Polyester Resins Composit
The global demand for wood as a building material is steadily growing, while the availability of this natural resource is diminishing. This situation has led to the development of alternative materials. Composites Some u...
Experimental Investigation of Thermal Efficiency of Boiling Pot with Modified Surface Geometry
The research investigates the feasibility of a boiling pot with modified bottom surface as an efficient way compared to the boiling pot with a flat bottom. The effects of multiple vertical tubes along with modified botto...
