Modification of Surface Properties by Laser Cladding with Ni–Cr–B–Fe–Al Alloy
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2012, Vol 35, Issue 3
Abstract
The paper is focused on modification of surfaces properties by laser cladding. To follow the corrosion behavior in different media of laser cladding layers made of nickel based alloy Ni - Cr - B - Fe - Al. It was studied using the potentiodynamic method. Elasto – plastic behavior of the assembly base material - deposited layer was monitored by using sliding indentation, in dry friction conditions. It was determined the bearing capacity of surfaces.

Monitoring Techniques for Inorganic and Organic Pollutants in Soils Around an Integrated Iron and Steel Plant
In this paper the analytical techniques of X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Gas Chromatography with Electron Capture Detection (GC-ECD) and coupled with Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) are used in order to assess the level of indu...
Researches on the Viscoplastic Behavior of a CrMo Alloyed Steel
The paper shows the results of the researches concerning the deformation behavior of alloyed steel with chromium and molybdenum. The plastic deformation behavior is researched in the experimental way, using the torsion t...
Experimental Studies Regarding the Implementation Possibilities of a Quality Control System for Ceramic Products in Continuous Flux Production
In the current paper the authors studied the possibilities and limitations of a system intended to evaluate the quality of ceramic products directly on the production line. The system is based on a data mining specific a...
Studies and Researches on Obtaining Electrochemical Composite Coatings in Nickel - Ni / Kaolin Matrix
The paper presents the electrochemical obtaining of nickel matrix composite coatings using kaolin particles as dispersed phases. Watts electrolytes were used, with a pH = 4.5 current densities of 6, 9, 12 A/dm2, a disper...
Basic Mathematical Modeling of the Environmental Processes in the Lower Danube Region [I]
In most environmental pollution problems, the pollutant is released to the environment by the, almost always, turbulent flow of a carrier fluid. The pollutant mixes with the surrounding fluid (air or water) and undergoes...
