Modified Natural Polymer Materials for Paper Protection
Journal Title: To Chemistry Journal - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
Natural polymer materials, such as cellulose, chitosan, starch, are compatible with paper fiber , which can be used for paper reinforcement. However, due to the poor performance of aging, flexibility, adhesion, it needs to be modified. The progress of the modification of some natural materials in paper artifacts protection is introduced.Research and application of some natural materials in paper artifacts protection is summarized. And the development prospects of paper artifacts protection are also discussed.

Study on Nano-Silica in Protection of Paper
In this work , the role of nano-silica in protection of paper works were investigated. Nano-silica was used as protective coating on the surface of the paper. To prove the protective of this coating, the mechanical prope...
Environment and Development: Bioenergy for Future
People are relying upon oil for primary energy and this will continue for a few more decades. Other conventional sources may be more enduring, but are not without serious disadvantages. The renewable energy resources are...
Differentiation Between Natural and Commercial Bee Venoms Using Fluorescence Spectroscopy
Honey bee venom (HBV, A. m. scutellata) contains polypeptides [melittin, mast cell degranulating peptide (MCD), adolapin and apamin] and enzymes. The aim of the present study was to differentiate between commercial and na...
Staircase Voltammetry using Rotating Disk Electrode
A theory of staircase voltammetry on the rotating disk electrode is developed. The simulation is based on the method of variable diffusion layer thickness. Critical parameters that define the form of responses are calcul...
