MODULATORY EFFECTS OF LNM ON LYMPHOCYTIC APOPTOTIC PATHWAY THROUGH P53, BCL2,
Journal Title: WORLD JOURNAL PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 4
Abstract
By using immunocytochemistry technique the apoptotic activity of Leinamycin against lymphocytes isolated from Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia patients in comparison with healthy individuals was determined by measuring P53 and Bcl-2, were they play very important role in cell cycle and then programed cell death. Results showed that LNM at concentration 4.5 μg /ml caused significant upregulation of P53 while it decreased the expression level of the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 in lymphocyte. The results showed significantly (P< 0.001) improvement of P53 expression level in treated cells (43.363 ±1.893%) when compared with untreated cells (14.371 ± 0.449 %), Whereas, LNM caused dramatic decreasing in Bcl-2 expression pattern when compare with untreated cells (30.08± 1.0095, 63.2± 1.43; P < 0.001) respectively.

SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC OXIDATION METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF TAMSULOSIN IN THE PRESENCE OF DUTASTERIDE BY USING BROMATE – BROMIDE MIXTURE
A sensitive, precise, accurate, simple and rapid spectrophotometric method has been developed for the estimation of Tamsulosin in the presence of Dutasteride in pharmaceutical formulations and in the drug dosage form. Du...
EVALUATION OF THE INTERACTION OF THREE TYPES OF ANTRACICLINES AND NEUROTRASMISORS USING QUANTIC CHEMICAL SIMULATION
In this work we analyze three types of anthracyclines (ACys). The analysis consists of observing how these ACys interact with the neurotransmitters (NT). These drugs are used in the treatment of different types of cancer...
ADVANCE OF PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF NON-MELANOMA SKIN CANCER: LITERATURE REVISION
Non-melanoma skin cancer is the cancer with the highest incidence in Brazil, corresponding to 30% of all malignancies registered in the country. This type of neoplasm has low lethality, but delayed diagnosis can lead to...
SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF BIOLOGICALLY IMPORTANT NOVEL QUERCETIN OXIME DERIVATIVES OF Pd (II) COMPLEXES
We have developed a simple, convenient and effective method for the synthesis of different complexes of Quercetin oxime. The ligandsand their complexes would be screened for their anti-cancer activity against certain can...
