MORAL GUIDELINES AND PROBLEMS OF THE JOURNALISM: TO SERVE THE PUBLIC BY TRUTH

Abstract

The article is devoted to man-era founder of Ukrainian school of journalism, publicist, statesman, thinker Anatoly Moskalenko. Honored Journalist of Ukraine, Professor Moskalenko (1934-1999) - a famous Ukrainian writer, novelist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician of the International Academy of Information, First Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Father to Ukrainian journalism, founder and first director of the Institute of Journalism at Kiev National University of Taras Shevchenko. Philosopher, the absolute leader, wise and easy in judgments and study. He loved life and believed in the future of our young country, and laid high standard of journalism. In his writings and actions emphasizing the quality of journalism, clean and free speech, teaching students to respect each postulate of Journalists Code of Ethics. Results. Gave journalist the status of "fourth power" and programmed each graduate of the Institute of Journalism to be a dissent human being, and then pro - worthy to bear the truth, not to betray yourself, do not lose faith and a desire to develop respect for audience, providing for the basic moral ethical guidelines and objectives of journalism - to serve the public with truth. In journalism, image is a concept described as a mental representation of an object formed in collective consciousness under the influence of mass media, this article analyses tools and methods used to influence the audience. Analysis of recent research and publications. The research in this field has been of a importance for Ukrainian and other scientists, including: V. F. Ivanov, Yu.M. Nesteryak, Y.V. Bondar, Y.O.Doroshenko, I.M.Zabyiak, M.M.Soroka, V.I.Spak, V.F. Chamara, G.I.Vartanov et cetera. Method of research. Learning from predecessors, we may conclude that researchers, practicing scientists, achieved various levels of understanding of the concept of public image, about the role of press in forming of nation’s image, influence on mass media, her perception of information and forming of public thought. Conclusion. The author sets out to research tools and methods used to build up the image, create an efficient technology to reinforce the positive image, the algorithm of communication with media and translation of the image to the target audience.
