МОРФОЛОГИЯ ТИМУСА ЧЕЛОВЕКА В РАННЕМ ПОСТНАТАЛЬНОМ ПЕРИОДЕ ОНТОГЕНЕЗА

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of morphology of thymus in early postnatal period. 27 newborn thymuses were investigated in the work. All samples for histological examination were fixed in neutral solution of 10 % formaldehyde, embedded in paraffin, stained with hematoxilinum-eosinum. Cell contents of thymus was analyzed, lymphocyte-epithelial index was estimated. All quantities results were estimated by the statistic methods. It is settled that newborn thymus has lobular structure, cortical-medullary border is not developed, blood vessels are full-blooded, capsule and interlobular partitions are dropsical. Some small Hassall’s bodies are revealed. Morphology of thymus is characterized as accidental involution of the first/second phase. In general, we consider that thymus is one of the most reactogenic organs in newborns, its structure depends on any maternal disease during pregnancy, so it is necessary to estimate phases of accidental involution while describing the structure of thymus morphology in early postnatal period.
