MORPHOPHONOLOGICAL VERBAL MODELS OF NEW WORDS IN MODERN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The subject of the article is morphophonological transformation of new verbal words. The theme of the article is morphophonological verbal models of new words in modern Ukrainian language. Purposes. The article reviews the most productive ways of creating new verbal words. Derivational types of new verbal words with different categorical meanings in modern Ukrainian language are determined, morphophonological phenomena that accompany the creation of new words according to morphophonological models within definite derivational types are found, the above stated morphophono-logical phenomena are analyzed, regularities of the creation of verbal nouns and passive participles are traced. Methodology. The descriptive method, continuous sampling method, the method of morpheme and word formation analysis is used. The finding is the establishing of morphophonological features of new verbal words using morphophonological models. The accordance / discordance of word formation norms of modern Ukrainian language is found. Practical value. The results of the research can be used in special courses on problems of word formation and word creative morphophonology, in the process of writing textbooks in morphophonology, morphemics and word building of the Ukrainian language at a high school, and while creating derivational dictionaries. Results. Nouns denoting persons, processes, states are mainly formed from new verbs because there is a constant need for naming new concepts, processes, phenomena. New words, which are formed from verbs or word combinations, including the verb, are rarely passive participles. New verbal nouns and passive participles are formed according to the rules of the word formation of modern Ukrainian language. The main typical morphophonological phenomenon which is used in all new verbal words is final verbal truncation. However, morphophonological models were singled out where they happened to combine several morphophonological phenomena simultaneously.
