Abstract
Abbas Sahhat is one of the most talented representatives of the literary-cultural environement of Azerbaijan at the end of the XIX century at the beginning of the XX century. His pedagogical activity, as well as his activity in new school type, his serious and resolute position in changing the Arabian alphabet, the struggle he had made for the purity of the language. His articles, poems for children, letters in verse, stories, dramas have been completely counted on protection of national-spiritual values.
