MOTIVATION OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES IN THE MAINSTREAM OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The world scale events and facts make it possible to confirm that innovative activities stimulate the modernization of economy, increase its competitiveness and the human wellbeing. However, the application of effective fiscal instruments, increasing the size of public financing, the support of innovative processes and the creation of favourable conditions for structural changes in the economy should provide the development of innovative activities in Ukraine. This issue is currently of great interest. The study is based on a set of methods that provided the systematzation, generelization and identification of approaches for motivation of innovation activities in Ukraine. The method of theoretical generalization, observation and comparison, structural analysis, causation and graphical method were used in the paper. The author analyzed the Ukrainian practice and international experience of application of direct and indirect instruments of motivating the innovative activities. The main failure origins of motivating the innovative activities in Ukraine are highlighted. The variants of liquidating the failure origin are shown in the paper. The study revealed that application implementation will enhance the regulatory impact of the goverment in this sphere and economic development.
