МОВНИЙ СЕКСИЗМ: СТАН І ТЕНДЕНЦІЇ (ТЕОРЕТИКО-ПРАВОВИЙ АСПЕКТ)

Abstract

The article investigates linguistic sexism as one of the aspects of the study of the principle of equality in the context of trends in the development of the legal system. The purpose of the article is to highlight the theoretical and legal aspects of language sexism and its tendencies. Question of linguistic sexism as sex discrimination in the language finds expression in the language. The language lay in the subconscious plan of possible actions and actions, external behavior that involves communication. During such communication there is a situation where the interlocutors (as a rule, the husband and the woman), are in unfavorable conditions with respect to each other, which needs regulation. Therefore, questions of language sexism are studied both by representatives of linguistics and by lawyers. Among the lawyers who studied the issues of gender equality, one can mention I. Gritsay, O. Dashkovskaya, I. Kresina, V. Kudrya, T. Melnik, T. Slinko, O. Uvarova; among linguists – R. Lakoff, N. Sobetska, D. Tannen, O. Fomenko. The emphasis is on certain aspects of language-gender research and, in particular, on the forms of language sexism. Language sexism can be observed through: 1) the gender asymmetry of the language; 2) gender stereotypes; 3) “invisibility” of women in the language. Among the legal aspects that point to the relationship between the categories “language”, “gender”, “equality”, “law”, one should highlight the following: 1) the concept of legal equality between men and women in the theory and practice of legal relations; 2) gender jurisprudence; 3) gender equality in international documents; 4) constant reconsideration and revaluation of legislation, carried out with the help of gender expertise of legislation; 5) gender quotas It covers separate national and international legal acts reg ulating relations in the field of prevention of linguistic sexism. The author emphasizes that linguistic sexism is a phenomenon that finds its manifestation in the right language through its language and is negative in color. At the legislative, political, social and everyday levels, it is necessary to observe linguistic equality in the gender plane.
