Multi-phonon Raman Scattering in GaAs/Al0.28Ga0.72As Super-lattice
Journal Title: Physical Science International Journal - Year 2017, Vol 16, Issue 3
Abstract
Raman scattering measurement of GaAs/Al0.28Ga0.72As super-lattice has been performed by an incident light with the wave-vector perpendicular to super-lattice growth axis at room temperature. Several peaks in Raman Scattering spectrum are observed. Theoretical analysis shows that the peak at 290 cm-1 may be caused by emission of a longitudinal optical phonon in GaAs/Al0.28Ga0.72As super-lattice, the peak at 584 cm-1 by emission of two ones, and the peak at 876 cm-1 by emission of three ones. The multi-phonon Raman scattering may be resulted from the folded optical phonons in super-lattices.

Metastable Non-Nucleonic States of Nuclear Matter: Phenomenology
A hypothesis of the existence of metastable states for nuclear matter with a locally shaken-up nucleonic structure of the nucleus, was proposed earlier. Such states are initiated by inelastic scattering of electrons by n...

Finding on the Similarity between the Two Empirical Formulas: Temperature Dependence of Volumetric Expansion of Gas and Temperature Dependence of Resistivity of Conductor
This paper finds and examines the similarity between the temperature dependence of volumetric expansion of gases and the temperature dependence of resistance of conductors. In the 1780s, Jacques Charles came to know that...
