MUSICAL SYMBOL IN THE NATIONAL ASPECT

Abstract
The article presents the genesis of the theoretical interpretation of the symbol problem in the historical and philosophical dimension; the basic theory of the symbol existing in the Humanities is reviewed retrospectively. The particular attention is paid to the analysis of the specifics of musical symbols as a variety of artistic symbols, the influence of various aspects of the national on the process of their formation. The questions of musical mega-symbols, musical images, musical intonation as "non-special content of music", “intonational dictionary of epochs", the symbols of national musical culture, main carriers of expression of meaning are analyzed. Disclosing the cultural attitude aspect of the study of musical symbols, the author analyzes the theme of "bell (kolokolnost)" in the works of Russian composers, emphasizing the role of "bell (kolokolnost)" in the expression of the Russian national idea, the formation of values, ideals and beliefs, in forming a combination of emotionality with a high ethical idea. The importance of the culturological approach in understanding the symbolic nature of music, the specificity of the influence of national characteristics, ethnic differences, and identity on the musical culture of countries and peoples is underlined. The musicological approach with the help of a comparative analysis of the activities of the Russian, German, French national compositional schools made it possible to reveal the philosophical, rationalistic, symbolic subtext of the national in the works of composers. As a result, the ability of musical meta-language is emphasized through the symbol to restore the synaesthetic fund of the socio-cultural and national paradigm of mankind.
